Termination and rotation principle
Since your tenancy agreement is concluded for a limited period of 51 weeks for the purpose of studying, termination is not necessary. Early termination before the end of the agreed rental period is therefore not possible. An exception is if you have been Ex-matriculated or have finished your studies. This must be proven within 2 weeks.
The purpose of limiting the duration of residence is to enable as many students as possible to rent accommodation in a student dormitory (rotation principle). However, an extension of the rental period by a further 51 weeks is possible up to three times.
